Louisiana River Adventures

Awesome day trip! We did the 4 hour float via river tube and it was only $25. Free parking, they drop you off and pick you up, cooler tubes for $5, life vests on request, dressing rooms & bathrooms on site. Very friendly, well-run company. I’ve never floated the Bogue Chitto but I did a river float in Hot Springs, Arkansas a few years back and this was way more relaxing and organized. Easy float that would be kid friendly (would probably do the two hour one though) since there’s not too many obstacles/rapids and lots of beaches to stop at. Took me less than a 1.5 hours to get here from NOLA and took my friends about 1.5 to get here from BR.10/10 recommend this and I will definitely be back!

Louisiana River Adventures is my favorite tubing spot in the area. I try to go at least once every summer. If you're looking for a good float trip, this is the spot.

Once you get past the idea that something is going to pull you through your float hole and take you to the bottom, it’s a really relaxing time, even if you take your time and go to all of the little beaches, have lunch and whatnot. When you start feeling like you want to go home, the exit sign pops right up.

We go multiple times each year. We started with a small group of 4 and each year we add people. Last year, we had 26 people floating with us. Our yearly goal is to increase that number. We are already planning our 1st trip of the season. Between the beautiful weather, the cool water, the multiple sandy areas to stop, and the smell of sunscreen.. what more could you ask for? Get out there and enjoy yourselves. Ohhhh and definitely do the all day tubing, you'll regret it if you don't. Make sure you stop and tell the locals hi and play some beach volleyball. Bring your ice chest but pay attention to what you can't bring. I'd hate to eat all of your jello shots again BEFORE getting on the river( yes, that happened one year). We love going to Louisiana River Adventures on a hot sunny Summer Day with friends and an ice chest full of cold beers. The numerous beach stops and rope swing make a fun day full of memories! Hope to come back this Summer!
