We had a great experience, the owner Brenda was very helpful helping get gear to and from the camp site. She also came around each day to check in to see if we needed anything. There was a shower on site which was nice. The outhouse was great the 1st couple of days but the last 2 days when the sites were much fuller it was getting very ripe lol.
Brenda is amazing! We came in late, but she was still extremely accommodating. Clean sites. We will definitely be back.
Really enjoyed the stay here with my cousin and his kids. Brenda was awesome and very accommodating. She even brought us some more firewood later in the evening. The terrain is really rugged for Louisiana or Mississippi. Steep cliffs and nice sandy streams. Really convenient if you wish to visit Clark Creek Waterfalls, Angola Rodeo or the plantation homes in the area. We enjoyed it.
This is a wonderful campground and the woman who runs it is unbelievably nice. When I arrived by bicycle late in the day she drove to the grocery that was about to close, bought my dinner, and refused to let me pay her back! Who does that?? Also, the stagecoach cabin is so cozy and cute. I loved my stay at Tunica Hills. Thanks again Brenda!
Never knew this campground was here but now that I know, we will definitely be back. Perfect location just between the Tunica Hills tracts on the WMA, and Clark Creek Natural Area. Brenda is a great host, going above and beyond to make sure guests are comfortable. We stayed at a non-electric campsite and it fit the ticket. We spent a lot of time just sitting in chairs looking out into the gorgeous woods. Next time we'll try out a cabin, or maybe just stick to a rustic campsite since that's the experience we like the most.
