“I broke down on my trip to Maryland and they got me in to replace my water pump the next day. They did an excellent job of replacing the water pump and found out I had another issue with a front wheel bearing which was bad. They also found some issues of missing bolts on the motor from where a previous garage had done some work. Excellent work and very friendly and knowledgeable staff!!”

However, today the kind lady at the register, Joyce, went above and beyond to point me in the right direction for a specific product for my epileptic pup that they did not have at their store. “I don't know what I would have done if it weren't for the Vice President Market Manager at this bank. I had some serious financial burdens because of medical expenses wracking up. I went to my bank to see if I could get a loan, before I would be in a spot of losing our home in the near future. I was referred to Peggy Singleton who took time to listen to all I had going on. She asked me if she could take notes which I was taken back by. She asked me questions about my current situation and about debts I had wracking up and what my income was. Then she asked me what I hoped to achieve from BB&T after the meeting. I didn't know how to answer that because I was so stressed out over the whole thing, I was embarrassed and scared and at a loss. She was so understanding and she cared. She delivered on all she said she would do. She worked tirelessly and called me outside of bank hours to update me on my approval. She got me out of a hardship that I didn't think I would ever get out from. She saved me from losing my house. What made me give comments when I never give comments is what this woman did after she gave me a loan. She called me to check in and see how things were. She asked how my son was making out with treatments. She sent him a get well card and veryone in the branch signed it for him. I mean this BB&T bank is not just a bank, they have people who work for them who actually care about the customer. Where else can you go and have the Vice President call you just to see how you are doing, let alone send a personal note to your son to uplift him during the most difficult experience of his life? I send people to see Peggy Singleton all the time because she is a great bank manager and loan officer and because she is really a rare find. In this day and age you just don't find people who genuinely care like this woman does.”

“Good business. Have all the supplies and services I needed. They spent a lot of time trying to find parts for my 50 year old sand filter. The only negative is their salt supplies are erratic... they seem to run out of salt a lot. On the other hand it's probably unreasonable to expect to pick up 25 to 50 bags of salt without any warning.”

Wish the lines moved faster but it was busy when I went. Garden center has plenty of plants and garden stuff. Big green egg and yeti. No need to go to Home Depot!”

He has done a good job ensuring she has quality of life. “Delicious. It is a very small place and you don't really know what to expect as you approach the door. Once you go in you see it is like a small town bar with amazing food. The people are friendly and they have a lot of great homemade food to choose from when usually the most you can expect from a bar is whatever can go from the freezer to the deep fryer. We will be back and bring friends next time. Since it is so small I imagine the one downside is they can easily fill all of their 8-10 tables and bar space. Check it out!”
