When my aunt passed away, my mom was overwhelmed with clearing out her house. Chesapeake Transitions compassionately and professionally helped her sort through and pack a house full of her sister's belongings identifying which to gift, donate and sell. Their patience and professionalism helped my mom deal with a stressful situation after her loss. Can't say enough good things about them.

Lacking in management. After moving our neighbor this company was in hosting the estate sale at the house which is directly across the street from ours with a long driveway and plenty of places for their customers to park. However they made no effort at all to control the flow of traffic to the estate sale and our yard subsequently became a parking lot for frenzied black friday deal hunters. Our mailbox was hit and the post smashed in the process with no one around to take responsibility. When my husband got home and made contact with Chesapeake transitions they initially would not take responsibility and said it was like that when they got there.
However I'm updating my review because they did call back that night to apologize and they dropped a new mailbox post off the next morning. Its still a little irritating that my husband has to take time out of his weekend to install a new mailbox post but it better than nothing so my review went from from 1 to 4 stars.
