“THE ABSOLUTE BEST DOCTOR & STAFF !!! On 11/27/17 I was went to Annapolis Radiology at AAMC for a fluoroscopic lumbar puncture (spinal tap) to be performed by Dr. Thompson. I was very nervous because on the 23rd 2 other doctors in the emergency room at AAMC were unsuccessful at drawing fluid from my Spine after six extremely painful attempts. They were great doctors however were just unsuccessful at completing this emergency procedure. They then referred me to Dr. Thompson with Annapolis Radiology at AAMC to perform a fluroscopic lumbar puncture. When I arrived his staff Took me right back to the prepping room. Dawn and the other nursing staff were very professional, compassionate, had excellent bedside manner, and assured me I was in excellent hands. When I met Dr. Thompson 15 mins prior to the procedure and he explained exactly what he would be doing and he assured me this was going to be “a piece of cake”. I was then I moved to the room where the procedure was to take place and was sterilized by 2 nurses and Dr. Thompson started the procedure. The procedure took about 15 mins. Dr. Thompson made me feel very comfortable and is absolutely amazing at his job. It was nearly painless. He is truly one of the best doctors for this procedure and I’d recommend him and his staff to anyone requiring his services.”
