(January 5, 2019, 6:34 am)My Mom's boyfriend John J. Wood, the head of the local Pagan MC was shot three times which resulted in his death by a member of the Phantom MC, a club from Maryland, in 1979 at a Bluegrass festival here at Camp Whippoorwill . I don't think all these houses were there or there there probably was an open area in the woods here to have the festival, landscapes change. If you are interested in reading the article about John's death Google 'John J. Wood Washington Post', it will be the first result as of now. I'm posting this to keep his memory alive. John treated my Mom great, I grew up with a framed photo of him in the house, and he could have been my father if he wasn't murdered. He survived be his parents (RIP) and sister. Ride on you dark star.
