“This school is GREAT! My son loves this school. He is doing so much better here. They take the time to work with the kids. If you have any questions the teachers are more than happy to help you, and they try to help fix the problems. They not only recognize when their students have a rough day, they also applaud, and recognize them for the good. My son looks forward to going to school everyday. The office is very big helps. Especially Ms. Nancy at the front desk. She is always pleasant and has the answers. She always tries to help find solutions around things as well. I want to say a big THANK YOU to overlook. The staff and everyone is GREAT!”

The atmosphere is child centered and learning through play is the focus. I personally loved having a co-op as our family's introduction to school leaning. St. John's is also more affordable than other schools in the area. An added bonus...not only did my kids make friends we still keep in touch with but I made new mom friends too.”

“We really like Quala Care. They were recommended to me by my old boss. I toured while pregnant and the on-boarding process was easy. I did it in enough time to guarantee a spot for when my maternity leave was over. I brought my child into meet the teachers prior to starting, which was welcomed. They have an open door policy that helped me get through the first few months. She started with one teacher and I was nervous when her family moved from the area, but her new teachers are amazing. My daughter loves daycare and the staff communicates well. Seems like they truly care about the kids. For example, multiple teachers know my daughter by name and she knows them. They follow quirky directions from me as a first time mom also, which is a plus.”

“Chesapeake Science Point may be in a weird place for a school and is hands down one of the smallest schools in the county, if not the smallest. There are some ignorant staff, but ignorance is the l̲i̲m̲i̲t̲ to their flaws. Most educators and staff members wouldn't go as far as using vulgar language when it comes to handling their anger in tough situations such as a student blatantly disrespecting them. This happens a lot. I've only just began my middle school 'career' here, and from what I've witnessed so far, this school promises potential to the students that are willing to listen. The students are usually behaved, as the most disrespectful students I've seen in a class together was seven students. Still, this is beyond unacceptable and educators should have more control over the students' actions and should enforce their rules as much as possible when and if necessary. Overall, Chesapeake Science Point is not the best choice of a school if you want to be in an active music class or football team (they don't have either of those) but everyone (mostly everyone) there tries their best to respect others, their belongings, and their learning. They also give out donuts to well behaved students and staff. ('They' refers to those whom study and/or work at Chesapeake Science Point.)”
