  The entire staff was amazing. They were honest, straight forward, and very supportive. Even though my girl was a complete mystery and came to them knocking on deaths door, they helped her and got her better and I am given more time with my best friend. I’ve had nothing but good experience with this vet clinic and I am extremely grateful for them.

  Great facility. Emergency visit. Took care of our 3month old Yorkie, Milo in a few hours. Easy breezy. Staff very accommodating & patient. Walk-ins no appointment was available even on a Sunday morning. Pricing was great as well, no sticker shock! :) Definitely recommend this facility.

  Took what was a rough time and made it a comforting, pleasant experience. Communication and service was excellent. Thank you for what you do. You took wonderful care of my dopey, loving Ragnar.

  My dog recently developed bloat. We rushed him to AAVEC where were met as soon as we pulled up. Within a short time, dx was confirmed and treatment of surgery was needed. Dr. Kozek is such an amazing, compassionate, brilliant and one best vets I have ever known. The front desk staff was professional and courteous, making sure we were informed of everything and we're made to feel at ease. Surgery went well and thankfuy Nik is on the mend thankfully to the very quick and competent staff. They were great about me calling, even at 3:00 on the morning. I can't thank the techs enough for taking such good care of him after surgery ( and in surgery), they made sure he got lots of luvies and smooches. I was grateful that Caryn sent me pictures regularly. I will say we are lucky to have this facility in this area, and grateful that they saved my dogs life. I have no complaints. The costs were what is expected and not over priced, I mean it is emergency medicine, we as humans just don't realize how expensive things are because of insurance. Nothing but mad respect and gratitude.

  This is the second time we have needed AAVEC. Both experiences have been amazing. This time our dog was having seizures, we drove from Calvert County on a Sunday night. We called ahead, they were waiting for us, the veterinarian called us within 10 minutes with a plan of care. They called again at 7am and again at 2pm for updates. We could not pick up our dog right away due to snowstorm and they reassured us he was in good care. Every person I talk to on the phone or in person is kind and compassionate. I cannot recommend this place enough to friends, and I am glad they are available for our late night emergencies.
