I recently moved into Stone Point apartments and my roommate and I are very happy with the place so far!
There is a trail in walking distance with beautiful hilly loops. I’m excited to walk them in the spring! The apartment also has a gym and cardio gym area which is a nice addition. A little tv will be able to guide you through workouts if you choose to!
There is also a movie room and a conference room that you can rent out if needed! All these things can be really useful depending on your situation.
The apartment we chose is really nice, we expected carpet but got beautiful dark hardwood floors! I definitely recommend taking a tour of the apartment and complex if you’re looking for a new spot to live. Stone Point is about a 10 minute drive from downtown annapolis making it very convenient for me and 5-8 minutes from the parole center. The management is very kind and responsive and has answered all of our questions and helped with management requests.
Definitely worth checking out Stone Point! Don’t miss out.
Stone point has been amazing. They are so welcoming and inviting. I hope to stay for a long time. Their package system is great, plenty of hubs. The gyms are great. And I love they they have events at least twice a month! Very dog friendly!
This is our second year in the community and we absolutely love it! The amenities and the club house are great, the front office staff are welcoming and responsive, and the maintenance team always does the 5 star job and is super quick to respond to any issue. We really enjoyed our first year here and gladly renewed our lease for the second.
I worked with Josie during my apartment search and I cannot say enough great things about the experience. The community was clean, luxurious and well maintained. Communication has always been a huge factor at past communities I've lived at and this team is great at it. Josie was professional, energetic and passionate about what she did. She took the time to answer all of my questions as this was a new area I've never lived in before now.
Joe is the best music teacher I've seen.
He makes sure to always remember the fun, and steers lessons based on student interest. Most weeks were guitar lessons. Some weeks they became songwriting lessons. Other weeks, voice or ukulele. Sometimes he would throw a jam session, inviting several students to get together.
No matter the topic, Joe's lessons are special. He can explain, teach, and connect so well to the students. My daughter felt confident enough to perform at a talent show after just four months of lessons.
Joe was also very helpful in terms of picking out a starter guitar for my kiddo. I had no idea what to get, and he talked me through to some good options.
Joe provides quality instruction and a unique approach to learning an instrument and improving skills. Several times a year he will arrange for multiple students to meet and play band style! This encourages collaboration and improvisation. I succeeded in encouraging my husband to take up drums again with Joe, so now my husband and son will play songs and riffs together. Joe puts adult students together for jam sessions as well!
Our high-energy twin boys started with Joe when they were 8 years old. We were looking for a nontraditional guitar teacher, someone who would keep music exciting and go with the learning styles of our kids. That is EXACTLY what we got! Joe has followed their interests and even helped them learn the basics to songs they hear on the radio. They have gained confidence and skill faster than we could have ever imagined. He connects with the boys well and explains things in ways they can understand. They are learning drums, guitar, and explore the synthesizer too. They are learning song writing and to analyze music. He also does jam sessions with them where they can let go and be creative. We are so happy to have found Joe!
This is NOT your typical musical instrument lesson, and that's a GREAT thing! After trying several other traditional places, we found the School of Music and Mayhem. My family has now been taking lessons from Joe for years. His unique approach to teaching by making it entertaining and duplicating a rock-n-roll type experience make this more than just lessons. So much so, that after my kids took guitar and drum lessons, I decided to take Bass lessons. I never thought I would say this but I now can play Bass at age 50! I highly recommend School of Music and Mayhem. If you want to give your kids the best chance at embracing an instrument, give Joe a try!
The School of Music and Mayhem is a family affair for us and it’s because Joe is a great instructor! Joe provides the perfect balance of fun and motivation for my kids which has resulted in them turning into stronger guitar players. Joe encourages my kids to explore music, try different instruments, be creative and fearless. We’re lucky to have found him!
