I can't say enough good things about the care my Dad received at the Rebecca Fortney Inpatient Care Center! Everyone was competent, compassionate, and caring. They tended to his every need - pain management, cleanliness, spiritual well-being, organ donation, etc. Everything was discussed with us and all questions answered. They made it possible for us to be there with Dad until the end and say goodbye in a safe and supportive environment. We will be forever grateful for the care they provided.
I couldn’t be more impressed with the staff or more thankful for every single thing they did for my mother and for us as the family. Based on the treatment both my mother and we received from the Anne Arundel County Hospice of the Chesapeake staff I would recommend this service to anyone at all that needed this type of care.
If I could give a Million Stars I would.
Everyone is kind, caring, compassionate, understanding and so helpful.
From the nurses to social workers to the aides who come to help do things, so very caring.
I highly recommend to anyone who needs care for their loved ones to contact them for palliative or Hospice care.
April 17 2019. Great people who were very caring. Sorry for the late response but our families experience was fantastic. They treated my mother with great care. Thanks to all. My moms nurse was fantastic. She made her feel better each time she arrived at my parents house. I give credit to all who choose to work in a hospice atmosphere. Not a easy job . Thanks for your caring staff. Just put my moms ashes in her favorite place. Topsail beach . Thanks.
There are not enough words to describe how caring the staff of Hospice of the Chesapeake was. My mother had first received care under the Palliative care for about 6 months prior to receiving Hospice care for her last 4 months. My mother's team consisted of her nurse Monica, nurse practitioner Amy, Aide Tara, and from other staff her social worker and chaplain. These last months were very difficult emotionally and the superior care my mother received and support our family received was so respectful and caring. I hope your family member never needs this type of service but know if you do, your family will be in caring hands.
