The Crab Shack Edgewater

This place is great! We love the boils cooked with pure butter. Delicious crab dip. Quality seafood.

Very nice, laid back environment. My whole family loves it, including my 1 year old, who gets the kids burger. We are seafood lovers from New England and this is our favorite place in town.

In the colder months, they have great MD oysters. We are having them right now!

This place is awesome. Wait staff is great and very helpful with suggestions. Some of us had the boil special with shrimp, corn, potatoes, and blue crab. Tons of food for very reasonable. My wife had 5oz lump crab cake. A little small if you are hungry but reasonably priced. My sister had the king crab legs which was awesome. Several people were getting the all you eat crabs for $50. Definitely going back.

Ordered for first time, yummy all good, had the Ahi Sandwich platter comes with one side and I ordered Coleslaw, will come back. Outside hand wash cool but paper was out.

My daughter picked the Crab Shack and our bartender Jenn made me an amazing fresh-squeezed orange crush while we tried to decide. Jenn was so warm, friendly and fun!

We started with the Cajun Popcorn Shrimp and Hush Puppy Basket. The shrimp were cooked perfectly: crisp on the outside while still tender inside. The hush puppies were full of sweet corn and the honey butter was delicious.

Then we had the Cajun Boil with shrimp, snow crab clusters, potatoes, corn and mushrooms. Everything was cooked perfectly and we could tell the corn was local. My daughter chose a medium level of spice, but then asked for extra seasoning because she liked it so much. It was full of flavor, not just salt like many Cajun seasonings.

We will definitely be back soon to try the Mahi Tacos and Cajun Boils with different combinations of seafood!

So my kids told me to stop here out of the blue. No plans to eat here, they were just hungry and thought it would be a good place to eat. Wow! The food was so delicious that they can't stop talking about it. With Bob Marley, Jimmy Buffet, and Kenny Chesney on the audio, the ambiance was perfect. Full bar, friendly service, and an awesome menu how could you go wrong? This place was a great choice and legit crab shack!
