We have to come down every so often from a state over for work. My brother has been recommending my husband and I try this place for a while but we never had time. We made ourselves make time for it today and let me tell you how happy my husband and I are that we did. This place was so freaking good. When you look at the menu you think” mostly hotdogs?” But it’s more than that. The food is definitely cooked with the heart and the portions are so generous. My husband is not one that is easily overly impressed but we both were. Wherever we are down in Maryland this is going to be are go to! The service was also so great and the bartender/waitress and the owner were so personable. Don’t miss out on this place! That homemade chili was just *chef’s kiss*
I had such a good time here tonight. Wednesday is “Music Bingo”! It was so much fun. The staff, waitresses and bartenders were nice. The joint owner Shah came out and greeted us. He was so friendly and professional. I loved the Tennessee Tea and the fried Oreos were a great choice for dessert. I will definitely be back!
Everything about this place was fabulous. The dishes are fun... derived from hot dogs (or sausages). The atmosphere was great. Happened to discover this place by accident on a Friday night. They have a DJ every Friday. Huge melting pot of people...all ages, all races. I loved it! Can't say enough about the staff. Very attentive.
Inquired about missing side on kids meal (mini corn dogs) and was told they didn't come with anything else. But then was told they would bring out fries for the confusion. Never brought out the fries. Found it weird that the kids meal didn't provide a side for a balanced meal. Hubby and I enjoyed the Bowie Bacon BadBoy and fried pickles, they were delicious!
Was camping out at the DC/Capitol KOA and came here twice because of how close it was - only about a two minute drive from the campsite. Great experience both times! It's basically a burger joint with hotdogs/sausages instead. The portions are generous and fairly priced, 'round $9-13 for a meal. The service was impeccable - they get to you quick, check on you often, and have good attitudes. Food only took about 5-10 minutes to come out both times. They've got a vegan dog that you can sub into any of the nonvegan ones, and you can alter the dogs to take off the nonvegan stuff, too. Wish their beer selection was larger, but they've got some decent variety for what they do have. They're (obviously?) dog friendly, so don't eat out on their patio if you're not cool with that. Place has got a cool aesthetic, and it's clean. Wish they had something sweet on the menu (fried Oreos? ice cream?), but that’s about it. Definitely stop by if you're camping out at the KOA!
