“June 29, 2018 Port Side Marine, their owner and entire staff are great to work with. I have an older Load Rite boat trailer and took it to them for repairs. It started out as a wheel bearing problem but I requested they completely check out the trailer in preparations for an upcoming 500 mile trip. Max called many times to give me updates and they repaired everything from brakes, brake lines and wheel bearings to the highest standards. After driving the trailer I experienced a different problem with one of the brakes not fully releasing. It turned out to be the Brake Accuator. I took it back and within a very short time, the problem was diagnosed and repaired. Here is where this company stands above all other companies. I know the second repair took their mechanic 4 hours to diagnose and repair. But because they just worked on the trailer, the owner (Tom) said to only charge me 1 hour labor. Honest and Customer Service oriented companies like this are almost impossible to find. I had called 2 other companies when seeking to have my trailer repaired in the beginning and was told to make an appointment for 6 to 8 weeks later. I would have missed all boating season! This was my first experience with Port Side Marine, but they will get all my business moving forward. Tim Jahnigen”

“After 41 years in the Navy, getting my haircut around the world and on ships, moving every year or two and having to find a new barber every time I move, I consider myself an expert on finding a good barber. Eastport Barber Shop, and specifically Z are the Best: Top 10 Reasons: 1) He's the ONLY barber there...you will get him every time. 2) He is a really good barber...you will get a very good, balanced haircut. 3) He is friendly and listens to you, he does what you ask, not what he wants. 4) His shop is immaculate. As mentioned, a coffee machine, candy, and seasonal snacks. Great music on a very good sound system. 5) Easy to park...I've never parked less than 15 feet from the front door...but I usually walk...and another loyal regular rides his bike, which Z always allows to be brought inside (not sure he'd do that for everyone but it's a really nice bike. 6) Fast. Even if there is a line, you will not be there waiting long. Most barbers as good as Z earn my comment, "worth the wait." But Z is worth it and there is no wait. 7) Reasonable price. I think his business plan is to be so good you will always come back...and you will tell others about him...like I am now! 8) Local. Got to support the local business. 9) Razor. Yes, nothing feels cleaner than the hot cream, then blade on the neck and around the ears. 10) Good Man. You can just tell he is a kind person who you want to see continue to succeed.”
