Civic Works Seeding a forest for eating in Clifton Park - Civic Works
The Clifton Park Food Forest is a project of Civic Works. By Julie Scharper The Baltimore Sun November 22, 2014. Once it was a garden, then a bramble-choked thicket of invasive trees. The project, known as the Baltimore Food Forest, is believed to be the first of its kind in the Baltimore area.

Cultivating a Food Forest 2016 | University of Maryland Extension
Putting together a food forest is about functional relationships between plants, how many elements can each species support and draw support from when working in cooperation. Students should also wear comfortable clothing for our our field trip into the Clifton Park Food Forest.
