“I stayed here last August with a friend of mine on our way to an escape room in PA. This place is great for $40, u get a pretty standard size room, luke warm water , and the roaches weren’t that bad if you keep all the lights on .. and dont leave powdered donuts and sticky sweets laying around, just common sense ! Plus it was summer .. roach season .. i wouldnt say the hotel was filthy ...????..but the blood stained walls were a little alarming ! However, , it could of been there from a previous owner of the building and the current hotel owners just never got around to painting the walls.. big deal! Old buildings equals history. I didn’t mind the used toliet paper full of number 2 in the waste basket as i understand the toliet doesnt flush like it used to as it does look old so what? This isnt the hilton its freaking $40 ppl stop complaining! The only reason i chose not to give it 5stars is because they dont offer an indoor gym .. I mean come on swan motel...there’s obviously bloody show downs going on in these rooms , the last thing i wanna do is be to weak to fight.. i loved this place and i even booked it for my 87 year old grandparents for a weekend retreat last summer.. i guess they liked it , i never hear from them anymore ????????”

“This place is a gem when you want some quick breakfast food. The lunch is good as well, I am usually in other parts of the city by then. You can sit inside and eat. They have lottery games to play if that is your thing. There are 2 gas stations on same intersection. Plenty of parking. Star deduction simply because there is no public restrooms. The business itself is great otherwise.”

“Basically the place Arbutus has needed for forever. Cool bending staff that recognizes your face and cares enough to talk about/ remember what's going on in your life. Very welcoming place you can get decent priced booze with well priced bar food. Burgers there are awesome, but the chicken kabobs is the best thing on the menu. Trivia Thursdays, game day specials, and all that jazz. If you've been there 3 times then chances are you've seen the owner walking around. An establishment where you regularly see the owner is usually a good sign. PS For the good review do me a favor and give the men's bathroom facilities a little bit of attention :(”
