  For a week I'd been looking for a place to "plug" a tire, not "patch". A patch requires the wheel to be taken off the rim and b/c I have custom rims, most tire places won't touch the wheels. Pep Boys still does! It was about 7p when i stopped by. I'd called a few times prior and they were too busy (asked if I could drop the truck off). I crept by and noticed the service lot was pretty much empty. The staff was friendly and I was taken immediately. The tech asked a few questions and took the keys, said it'd be about 10-15 mins. And he added that since I was enrolled in Pep Boys' Rewards program, I might save $10 on the repair. I took the time to shop the store and bought a few items. When the repair was done, it only cost $12!! It was $22, but the Rewards worked. I mean, the money went right back to the store cuz I bought $25 worth of product while I waited. Previously the staff at this location has been blah, but the associates working this evening were pleasant and engaging, asked if I needed help several times. Thanks for the great service!

  Update:
  After the first experience I had there I was disappointed, but the very next day the manager Rick called me and he was great. He was extremely helpful and rectified the situation. I was able to get my tires and wheel alignment for a great price. I take back everything I said on the last review. There was a miscommunication in the beginning but its been a week since the work was done and I'm very happy with the work.

  Set an appointment for a damaged tire replacement (had already had tires installed at another Pep Boys location). From the get-go, Keith, was welcoming and attentive. Their computer system was acting slow and he remained patient with every customer he served. Most importantly, he did a terrific job explaining the issues with my car, and what the various options were for resolve. When it comes to car care, all I'm looking for is honesty and a fair price and I think you definitely get that at this location, plus some other perks.
  
  While my tires were being patched, rotated, etc, I was able to comfortably work from their lobby waiting area and connect to their free wifi while enjoying a complimentary k-cup.
