“My wife fosters for a cat rescue and usually has to see specific vets around PA due to non-profit agreements. There have been several cases where other vets diagnosed cats as "we don't really know why this happens", or "they may be like that forever". We took those cases to Mount Caramel for a second opinion out of our own pocket and, long story short, the cats in question had been misdiagnosed and are now fully better. My only complaint is that Mount Caramel seems super expensive compared to past vets I have seen. It becomes prohibitive very quickly, especially when you are trying to help strays.”
