My Happy Place - my girlfriend said it best, "You always stand up straighter and smile a little more after class." Sensei Meg is not your typical instructor and this is what I enjoy best. I sough out a female instructor because I wanted a different pov with teaching. One that focused on technique as Aikido is about defense and harmony of spirit and not about kicking and punching.

Water's Edge Aikikai celebrated the move to a new home! Our dojo is now located inside GOALS Baltimore, an indoor soccer and lacrosse facility in Catonsville, Maryland. As a benefit, Herbert Run, a small creek and tributary in the Patapsco watershed, runs along the edge of the property, making our dojo truly at the water's edge.
