Delgado & Stanek PA

I have never had a more pleasant dental appointment than today at the Columbia location. I broke a tooth a while ago and because of the pandemic I was scared to go to the dentist. The pain that radiated through my body recently made my fear vanish though. So I went to my dentist and he said the words no one wants to heart "you need a root canal". I said I will do whatever to stop popping pain killers like candy. So I was referred to Drs. Delgado & Stanek. When I first called I had to play phone tag with the receptionist. Once we connected she was very nice and helpful since I didn't know who my insurance provider was. She found out and made my appt for the following week. Once in the office the fear set in again. But the dental assistant and Dr. Delgado made me so comfortable. They sat and chatted with me before going to work. The only discomfort was when I got the first numbing needle. After that it was smooth sailing. They gave me a rubber shield thingy to protect my mouth and exposed only the tooth that they were working on. That made me feel safe from Rona and my other teeth felt safe from the cold air that the dental drills produces. They performed a miracle and was able to do the canal because he stated I had calcium build up on my tooth and he might not be able to do it. Dr. Delgado and his assistant did their thing. I was so pleased with this experience.
