Fire Museum of Maryland

Very kid friendly. Great way to spend a hot day. Learning yet enjoyable.

Amazing place. Lot of fire trucks from past years. Needed more visitors(publicity) to maintain this kids educational place. Living long time in md we didn't know such museum exists. Kids enjoyed the ride and curiosity was obvious. It's fun place for juniors party.

This place is wonderful! The staff are all very friendly and helpful, and the antique fire equipment on display is amazing. We were here for our son's birthday party, and he and his friends had a fantastic time playing in the discovery room and going for fire engine rides. Well worth a visit!

I loved it at the museum today ... I enjoyed seeing all the old fire trucks... took a few pictures.. plan on going back with family .. grandchildren.. they will love it to ... I had my car in the car show and did get a plaque for my car ... enjoyed the day ...

Lived by this museum for years without ever realizing it was such an awesome place. Today we went to celebrate my nephew’s 5th birthday. He and his brother were overwhelmed with excitement when they saw all the trucks inside. They were given kid sized firefighter hats & got to ride a real fire truck, which was the highlight of the day. He didn’t stop talking about the truck for hours.
The museum was the perfect mix of fun & educational. Kids loved looking at all the cool trucks, and the fire fighter themed play area/room, while the adults enjoyed all the antique items & learning about history.
Everyone there was extremely kind and knowledgeable.
Perfect outing.
