This morning, my fiancé and I decided to go for a stroll on the NCR Trail. We live less then a quarter of a mile from the trail so it’s very convenient. After our workout we worked up an appetite and decided to try the Monkton Cafe in the old Monkton hotel. Joe, the owner, was very personable, friendly and made us feel very comfortable. We ordered a sausage, egg and cheese croissant and it was out of this world. So so delicious. I ordered a Vanilla Latte which is my go to drink and they completely exceeded my expectations. My fiancé, Luke ordered the Nitro and is a caffeine-a-Holic and he is absolutely thrilled with quality of coffee and breakfast items we have within walking distance of our home. We have found our new go to cafe and will stopping in frequently. We feel very fortunate to have such an amazing cafe in Monkton especially within walking distance. 10/10 stars! ⭐️

We had lunch here today and it was outstanding! 3 different selections from salmon to turkey to my son's breakfast sandwich and all were excellent! We love organic food although not sure if any was but you can tell superior ingredients went into each menu item. I even liked the music. We will be back:)

Stopped here for a meal during break from bike ride. Enjoyed a grilled cheese and black bean soup. Great service and good coffee too.
