Since starting at Fitness Together, I have felt more strong and confident than I have felt in years. The staff is incredible - friendly, dedicated, helpful, and motivational. Thanks to them, I have seen real progress and change; they are excellent at encouraging me and driving me to progress while simultaneously adapting to my old injuries. I cannot speak more highly of what has been an absolutely amazing experience at Fitness Together Melrose!
Been a member of the Fitness Together gym for several decades and rate it very highly for lots of reasons, including many workout amenities, convenient location in Porter Sq. w. parking and many other key businesses of convenience, extended hours, design and cleanliness of Club space, and friendly and professional staff, mgt. and trainers. Tends to be pricey, but overall, worth it if can afford it. Like their Foundation that also reaches out to less advantaged populations.
Coming into a fitness facility with little to no experience, just a willingness to improve my overall health, was intimidating to say the least! But after meeting with Melanie, and the coaches, I was at ease and assured it was the right decision. Over the past few months, I have learned new skills, modified as needed, and got into a routine that has benefited me both physically and mentally (doing something only myself for a change of pace!). I can't thank everyone at Fitness Together enough for a great introduction to their model, patience, professionalism and knowledge.
Had an amazing experience at FitnessTogether this summer! Currently a student in university, just home for the summer, I wanted to gain more experience and knowledge in training. I work full time, so finding the time to incorporate gym time was challenging. However, the owner, Mel, was so kind to help me find a program that would work best with my busy schedule! It was the best thing that I could have done for myself! Working one-on-one with the trainers really helped and encouraged me to continue to make time to exercise. The program that was made for me was customized to me! The trainers were extremely kind and helpful with assisting me in learning! 11/10 recommend!
To date, my experience has been great. The most important thing I wanted to achieve was consistency. Knowing I have three forty-five minute sessions a week dedicated to strength has kept me accountable. I can also feel myself getting stronger and that has been a positive reinforcement and motivator. I’m looking forward to continuing and challenging myself in a safe way.
