“This is one of the few "old line" full service independent insurance brokers i know of. As someone who must buy all kinds of insurance, and who has developed a sense of how much insurance should cost, I can vouch that HMS is a great resource to have when you want to go down every avenue possible to get the best deal. Moreover, insurance is tricky. You don't necessarily want to save 15% right away by choosing the lizard. You want the underwriter to have a customer-friendly process and not find out you aren't covered when you really need the protection of what the coverage was for in the first place. I buy all sorts of insurance, a lot of it business related, home related, and workman's comp related. I use HMS for all of it because they are honest, do a great job, and are responsive with great customer service. Sometimes they can't get you precisely what you need (but 99% of those reading this won't experience that). Just this last month, due to having teenage children which have had a fender bender but no big deal, my auto insurance premium quote shot up to over $10,000. HMS had to work on this for several weeks, and really put in a lot of effort for what is minor compared to a lot of business or large homeowner policies. I thought I was sunk, but eventually they uncovered a way for me to reduce my premium by 50%. Hallelujah! I am very glad I had HMS working this problem on my behalf.”
