“Essentially the ONLY pulmonologist in Southern Maryland...and this is coming from pretty much every specialist I've taken my mother to . Her former pulmonologist is at Johns Hopkins and that was getting too far regarding her Stage 4 COPD/Emphysema. When cardiologists, endocrinologists, and every other specialist you talk to say there are only 2 pulmonologists in Southern Maryland and Dr Pirouz would be the best...then that's saying something. One cardiologist even told me that he wouldn't take his cat to see the 'other' pulmonologist that is based in St. Mary's county. Dr. Pirouz is new but he's totally up to date on the latest in COPD medicines, techniques, therapies, and has an excellent bedside manner. He's young, energetic, but also empathetic and well experienced in the field. He also doubles as one of the Chiefs of ICU at Calvert. He helped my 77 yr old mother understand her COPD better, put her on a new medicine which seems to be helping, and he even called her one evening a few days after she started the medicine to see how she was doing. You don't hear of dr's making evening calls anymore... I would highly recommend giving Dr. Pirouz a try if you are looking for a more local pulmonologist.”

“Once I walked in, the office processed everything from check in to discharge with professionalism, security, and efficiency. Though my wait was approximately an hour, that's pretty good and average for your typical walk-in clinic. I did not have an appointment, though you can make them in advanced. My time there was done in four parts: check in, obtain vitals, meeting the doctor (Dr Drew Fuller today), and discharge. Each time the staff explained exactly what they were doing and listened to my explanations of why I was there. Every nurse, doctor and office manager, was friendly, patient and courteous. I was pleasantly surprised to know that someone managed the discharge and reconfirmed what your diagnosis was. That helps reaffirm the doctor's diagnosis and also helps me see that trust is built across every team member. Great visit, keep it up and thanks again.”

“While staying at Holiday Inn next door, I was looking for a massage, and I found more! The nature of the business was explained to me when I called for an appointment. I was agreeable to coming in as a new Physical Therapy Patient. This included a full evaluation and first treatment that lasts at least 2 hours. Robin was my assigned therapist, and she's excellent! She was helpful in explaining simply and step by step what she was observing in her evaluation, and how she would apply MFR. I was able to relax easily and feel the dynamics of the tissue she was treating as the changes were happening. At the conclusion of our session, she gave me some coupons for a yoga class and biomat treatments, other services offered at this clinic, and a couple of self-help exercises and a small therapy ball. I will also get paperwork from my session with physical therapy codes that I can submit to my insurance for possible reimbursement. All in all 5 Star service! I plan to be back again and again with my travels. Oh, and thanks! This was a lovely way to spend some of my time.”

“I'm writing this because Tidewater Dental has 100% changed my fear and anxiety of dentists around. I neglected seeing a dentist for a long time. I needed a ton of work including 2 extractions. Dr. Chapman is one amazing doc and every tech and assistant in there is fun, and professional. Not one time was I lectured about letting my mouth get bad. My first visit I was put at ease. Dr. Chapman simply examined me, gave me options, and we got to work. I was comfortable enough by a few appointments in that I was able to joke back with the techs and the doc. I will definitely keep using Tidewater Dental. Thank you all for a positive experience!!!!”
