I cannot say enough about this program, the staff or my own coach, Melanie Klein! I had finished 2 pulmonary rehab classes and 1 cardiac rehab class before checking out HRN. I learned more in my conversations with Alex and Melanie before starting class than with all three classes I had completed, I was pumped and ready to get with the program!
I love the class! It keeps me motivated! Melanie is an excellent coach. Class is always interesting, fun and you know you have worked out at the end of the class.
With COPD I have experienced a lot of setbacks but Melanie has always helped me get back to my full potential and push for more.
Abby and the rest of the office staff are wonderful to help, whether I’m late joining the meeting and they’re calling to see why, or I can’t get on the internet and they call to help me with that or any number of other things, that are fast , courteous and informed! Love that crew!
Dr. Shah is the best! He meets with us on a monthly basis and goes over all our progress, setbacks, meds and concerns. It is so calming to know that even though Melanie, Alex and the rest are professionals and pulmonologist, Dr Shah is there watching out for our interests.
I love, love, love this program and all who take a part. If you are looking for a good rehab program, look up HRN network on the World Wide Web , you will find none better!

The Home Rehabilitation Network has transformed my life. I now use half the oxygen I did 8 weeks ago and do an amazing amount of work I wouldn't have even attempted. I have a ways to go yet and hopes of more improvement but I know that with Alex and Melanie pushing me along (or pulling sometimes), I can know a more normal, healthy life again. Thanks to them and their amazing staff! You are all truly a gift!
Wonderful..Highly Recommended!it
I have been in zoom classes for the past 2 months and my day to day responsibilities are easier to accomplish. Due to the fun harmonica exercise and walking, biking, weight training and breathing exercises, I am able to do so much more. They go at your pace, but push you to keep doing more. I've learned so much about COPD that I didn't know. Melanie and Alex have made living with this easier and i am grateful.
I LOVE ALEX. Even if he is always pushing you, I know it is for my best interest. I love what HRN gives to us. I had taken Respiratory Rehab before with my medical plan but this class is far and above the other (even if I have to pay for it myself. Piece of cake. Alex named me The Squirrel because I breathed like one. I think Have outgrown the name both in body and mind.
I was diagnosed with COPD Emphysema Oct. 2020. My PFT was at 64%, I needed 1-2 liters of Oxygen to even walk across the room. I then contracted COVID-19 in January. I saw an advertisement about HRN on Facebook. I tried Alex's Boot Camp for free to see if it was for me. By the end of it, I was hooked and improved. I signed up for the 36 sessions which Medicare pays for in full. I had my annual PFT this Oct. and I was 91%, no O2 needed while walking or exercising, walking 1 to 2 miles per day, stationary bike no less than 30 minutes a day. THANK YOU HRN for giving me a life back. Alex, Melanie, Brittany and all the office staff are FANTASTIC!!!
