It took me several visits to pick out a cat that would be a good fit for me, and the staff I talked to were very friendly and patient in answering all my questions and helping me find the perfect cat. The free roam cat room was clean and had lots of toys and beds for the cats, and even a screened in porch for them to hang out on. It was a great experience adopting here!”

“Holy moly! Yum Yum! We explored Chesapeake City for the day. I wanted an ice cream dessert so our servers at Shaffer's referred us here. We both had a Maryland special inspired ice cream. This is a big deal because we each have varying ice cream tastes. It had a lemon flavored ice cream with raspberry, white chocolate chips and dark chocolate chunks. I certainly hope they continue making this goody. --Cheated on plain vanilla girl”

“We had a wonderful stay at this bed and breakfast last weekend! Sarah and Ed were wonderful hosts and the accommodations were great! It was nice to be able to walk to a great local restaurant and leave our car parked for the duration of our stay. The room was beautiful, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious! I'd definitely recommend this Inn, in a great little town!”

“Our voyage with Chesapeake City Water Tours was a group activity that was easy to set up and really enjoyable on this comfortable boat. We were running a little late getting to the dock, but we called to give them a heads up and they were very accommodating. Captain DJ and crew offered some history and explanation of the sights along the C&D Canal. In fact, you could tell that they enjoyed cruising the canal as much as we did! Highly recommended for a group outing!”
