Friendly customer service, extremely helpful.
I work odd hours and the morning shift is always happy and welcoming with "Good Morning ".
And the night/early morning guys are so sweet. I can't remember my pump LOL and they always know when I walk up. And sometimes there is some funny people outside. And the guys will walk you out.
Clean enough. Multiple pumps to choose from. I like to be able to just swipe my card, pump my gas and go!
Very cool place to look at from the outside. I wish that it was not temporarily closed though. Will definitely come back when it reopens
This is a very educational and beautiful place to go. If your into science and nerdy things, or even if you're not, this is a nice place to go to kill a an hour or two. My favorite was the indoor rainforest with all the butterflies. The place inside is rather expensive (food/souvenirs) and so are the tickets but you're in NY so that should be no surprise.
Kids live exploring around the house and collecting wood.
The prospect park alliance had a Autism play day today and I was told that they host one once a month. They gave families free entrance to the Lefferts Historic House and taught children how families lived in Brooklyn back in the 1730’s. We washed clothes in the same manner they did back then. They had stilt walking which helps dig the soil. They had make your own soap. Me and my daughter made a orange oatmeal scented soap. The historic house has a three dollar admission but this event was free and they do have a tip box to help the program run. There is a bathroom in the house. We were there earlier than the food kiosk located next to the carousel so there wasn’t any food options available until around 12pm. I ordered me and my daughter Uber eats to the park. The historic house is located in the children’s corner where they have the carousel, boat house and prospect park zoo. I had a good time!!
