“Grace has been one of the best decisions we have made for our daughter! She is learning at such a high level and retains the lessons which as a parent makes you feel good that the money you are spending on her education is well worth it.”

“Both of my kids are students at the school. The teachers are very responsive to me and have never shown any disrespect to me or my kids. All of my kids teachers have shown they truly care about their education and I am very engaged with all of them which does make a difference. Email responses and phone calls are returned in a reasonable timeframe for me. Never any long waits to get a response. Hmmm, I saw a response that said too many blacks, asians and minorities at the school...REALLY!!! Hmmm the neighborhoods the school serves are very diverse. What do you expect? That comment...well it speaks volumes. Very sad. We've not had any issues thus far that were not resolved. I think the PTO needs more assistance and involvement from the parents though. Improving whatever folks are complaining about overall can probably be resolved with more involvement from parents. and the school working together as a whole.”

“I graduated in '07, but I cannot imagine that the school has changed that much. Having transferred from a private school to public, in middle school, going to LPHS was a blessing for me! The teachers really cared about us! LPHS was always an academic oriented school. Where free thoughts and opinions were encouraged. This media hype is ridiculous. There is no way with some of the same faculty that worked there when my mother worked there that something wouldn't have been done about this before it became what it became. Referring to Jennifer H's post, I can see that the situation was likely blown out of proportion. -- I was ill my senior year and my Latin teacher came to my HOUSE to help me keep up with my studies! I was too sick to go to school and that is how much they cared that I continue to learn and feel supported even though I couldn't make it into a classroom. -- My theater teacher gave me an award because I went on stage the day after one of my surgeries! -- This is not a school that would perpetuate hate or intend to create disruption of the well-being of their students, family members, or faculty.”

“St. Mary's Bryantown is an excellent Catholic school that provides students with rigorous academics in a faith-based environment. The school community is warm and welcoming. If you are looking for a private school in the southern Maryland, you will love this school!”
