“I’ve used Murphy’s Plumbing for 7+ years and perhaps on 10 service calls. We’ve had our communication issues at times...but all in all, they always pull through and provide a solid service. I have used a few other plumbing companies and will be sticking with Charles Murphy. My original review was 3-stars. They were very old school and not responsive early on. They are really striving hard to be a 5-star operation in both plumbing and customer care.”

“Nice history lesson for the kids. They can play with old toys and dollhouse. Loved all the authentic historic pieces they've collected in the kitchen. You can take a guided tour or self guided. Loved the carriage barn and the ice house. The blacksmith shop is not always part of the tour, but it was this day. Really enjoyed it. The grounds and gardens were a little messy, probably due to so much rain. Will take the children there again.”

“Dublin Roasters is a very special destination in Frederick. Not only do they have amazing coffee, but it is one of the most friendly and and inviting businesses I have ever visited! Comfy chairs, a great light fare menu, friendly staff and even small gifts available for purchase by local artisans make Dublin Roasters a great way to spend an afternoon! The coffee is roasted onsite, and the owner will even show you how it's done. My favorite little "perk" is when I order an iced coffee the ice cubes are made from coffee. What a brilliant idea!! My drink never gets watery, so the last sip is as wonderful as the first!”

“This is a great little gem hidden in the middle of Frederick. It's a great museum about life in revolutionary and pre-civil war Frederick. Its great for kids and has a ton of toys and other items for them to play with. We went late in the season and got a personal tour since we were the only people there. They also have various events through the summer, which sounded fun, although we didn't get to experience them.”

“Not the biggest or best for a military base, but it definitely has the best gas station on post. Guaranteed to be able to provide gas every 5 out of 6 visits. They have high end big screen TVs for sale, but only the cheap flashlights. Full sized liquor store too. Can't forget the essentials.”
