(July 23, 2019, 8:21 pm)Beautiful, well maintained retirement community. Many activities available, gym, pool, gardening center, arts and crafts. On site coffee shop, bank, doctor's office by appointment. Dining room with full service has several options for each meal. Apartments in main building or bungalows surrounding amid landscaped gardens.
(September 24, 2018, 11:41 am)If you have the million $ it takes to even apply to live here, I'd do it in a heart beat. They have many activites, sewing room, arts & craft rooms, music, choral, card games, etc. Several eatting areas ranging from cafeteria to a formal dining room. Many living quarters available; bungalows, villas, apartments. All maintenance and landscaping included.
(May 28, 2014, 3:32 pm)My parents have been at Buckingham's Choice in Adamstown Maryland for more than 10 years. The services offered are exceptional and all staff members operate with the best interests of the residents first. They offer independent living, assisted living and nursing care with additional services as required. There is an indoor pool, computer room, dining room, lunch room, bar, exercise room and many organized activities.
For the adult children of elderly parents, BC is a place where your parents can go and you can stop worrying. In the past when warning my Mom that I would be stopping by to say hi, she would say she has to clean this and repair that and would be totally stressed out. Now I call to stop by and she says; "Don, I have dance class at 10, playing ping pong at 11, then lunch with friends at noon...., maybe after 2" - Great place!
