(December 12, 2018, 4:19 pm)Wonderful family friendly farm. Have been going for 13 years and remember when we could bring our old dog here (unfortunately it has gotten a lot more popular and dogs are no longer allowed). We now bring our kids and they love it!
(December 5, 2018, 5:27 pm)We have bought our trees here for about 15 years. With the exception of last year when we came on a cold weekday and it was pre-cut only we have been happy with selection and prices.
This year - before we ended up at Mayne’s today we stopped by a farm in Mt. Airy (it was a nice day and we were driving by - thought we would investigate). The trees were not even in the same realm of Mayne’s.
We do have the ability to go during the week - can not speak to the crowds on the weekend.
(November 23, 2018, 6:56 pm)Great place to cut your own tree. Lots of tractors running back and forth so there isn't much of a wait to take a hayride over to the tree selection. Went on a Sunday and was in and out in 1.5 hours.
I recommend going during off hours and bringing cash, the line to exit is much shorter for cash check out.
Will be back again next year!
2018 Update: Seems that tree pricing has gone up about 5 dollars.
