Kicks Karate - Urbana

Love Kicks Karate Urbana!!! The instructors are amazing with the kids. My daughter loves going to Karate. They make class educational and fun.

Our family loves this location! Fantastic instructors and ownership who genuinely care. Karate is popular but adult kickboxing class available too!

I'm just really impressed with kicks karate urbana. My son does karate there and I've joined adult kickboxing for a few months now. All of the instructors are absolutely amazing, positive, knowledgeable, encouraging. Wow this has been outstanding for my son and for myself. 5 stars Christina, Daniel, Kelly and Brandon

An outstanding group of instructors, who meet and instruct the kids from where they are. As well as learning Karate, I have noticed the kids learning respect and self discipline in a very well organized and warm environment. The instructors have an uncanny skill of making each kid feel part of the group as well as installing the critical attributes of self defense as well as life skills. Great Job. Keep up the great work. 👍

All three of my children have been involved in the Kicks program and it’s been a wonderful experience! My 11 year old started at 3 and is now a first degree black belt. He works hard and really loves all of the instructional staff like they were family. Even when we moved much closer to another Kicks location he said he would rather commit more time to driving each week and stick with the Urbana location. Mr Lee and his crew even stepped up when my son was desperately in need of good male role models in his life to make sure that he wasn’t just getting karate instruction but that he was also being given the personal encouragement and mentorship he needed.

My daughter attended for several years and has since moved onto gymnastics. The team still goes out of their way to make sure she enjoys herself and feels welcome when she is waiting for her brothers.

My youngest son is 8 and has also been attending since he was 3. Last year he stopped because he had zero confidence in himself despite really enjoying the classes. Earlier this year Mr Lee made a deal with him to come back with extra help and even has made an adorable personal bet with him to encourage him!!! Talk about motivating! My son has gone from constantly saying “I can’t” about everything to suddenly being more confident not just at karate but also at school.

I can’t ask for a better experience! Highly recommend, Mr Lee and his staff at the Urbana Kicks!
