The personalised, one-on-one attention has given Callaway a deeper love and understanding of these beautiful creatures. I can't recommend Loretta and 20/20 Horsemanship enough!
I haven't been here long, but already I feel very welcomed. The horses are all happy and well cared for and the people seem to know each one on a personal level. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable and eager to answer any questions. There are a variety of horses and ponies that seem to suit riders of all sizes and levels. The facility is clean and well kept, and the grounds have plenty of grass, the fencing is in good condition, and they have a pond to boot!
I'm new to the area and needed to find a place to board my horse. I found just the right spot here! The owner is fantastic, honest and truly a horse person. She prioritizes the overall understanding of horsemanship and safety both on and around the horses which I find rare in the horse industry. Every lesson is one on one and as I look at her intermediate and advanced riders you can really see the foundation of riding done well. She has a good mix of lesson horses including the most adorable white ponies for the little riders. Everyone in the barn seems really friendly and encouraging - another rare trait for a horse barn.
Great! The lessons I learned showed me the scope of what was available, the people were friendly and helpful, and the lessons I learned in body language and communication applied to my personal and professional life!
Known the owner for 4+ years and work/ride/rescue in the same equestrian circles with her. She is awesome hands on with the horses and students - able to mellow out previously high strung horses to make good lesson horses. Puts needs of her students first and foremost. Loving to horses - teaches good horsemanship in addition to riding - which can be a rarity here in VA!
