(January 30, 2019, 10:32 am)Ladew Gardens is a great place to have a peaceful outing with friends or family. Be sure to wear shoes you can walk in. I would also recommend checking out the food! It's a pleasant surprise to have good food in a beautiful park

(December 6, 2018, 8:54 pm)I visited ladue to see their Christmas show. They decorate the mansion with Christmas decorations every year and it's very beautiful to see.
(July 23, 2018, 8:02 am)Amazing!!! The grounds are absolutely gorgeous. The tour was wonderful and full of great information about Mr Ladew and his lifestyle. We had a wonderful docent in Germaine, who was a wealth of knowledge about the life and times of the house. The cafe on the grounds had delicious food and refreshing lemonade. A lovely retreat to get away from the hustle and bustle, highly recommended.
(July 6, 2018, 9:29 am)Though we went on a steamy day, we enjoyed our visit. It makes for a nice 1.5-2 hour walk through their gardens. Lots of selfie and photo opportunities throughout. Quaint gift shop, tours of the main house, and a wilderness/nature walk as well. Middle of nowhere so that’s definitely nice, except it took forever to find a nearby eatery. Recommend for a relaxing half day trip from DC.
