  Called Helms Electric to run a new electrical line for an AC unit and they were willing to come out same day. The electrician was in the neighborhood already and arrived 15 minutes later, which was great! The new outlet was split from an existing one (aka a circuit extension) and only a small hole was created in the drywall.
  
  The work area was left just as clean as when he arrived and the finished product looked very professional. The electrician (and his apprentice?) was also very pleasant and neat; he explained what work was being done and why it was being done, which is always appreciated.
  
  Pricing felt competitive, but on the high-side (keeping in mind I'm tight-fisted); he was willing to honor an Angie's List coupon, which was nice. And sometimes paying just a little more for fast, professional and convenient service is worth every penny.
  
  I will gladly call for further work in the future and would recommend to my friends.
  
  Overall 4.5 stars, rounded up to 5.

  Bob and Bailey were professional & friendly. They took care of the issues in a timely manner. So glad to have found a good electrician!!

  Long overdue review for Helms. Bob has completed 2 jobs for us over the past couple of years including a full basement rewire and a smaller ceiling light/fan install. They did a fantastic job on our basement including helping us work out the best locations for our lighting and reworking a switch location when we changed our mind. High quality work that was even commented on by the inspector. First call we made when we needed something in our nursery as well.

  Don't go to anyone else!! I called Helms Electric, local small business which I prefer, and Bob the owner picked up right away and told me that he would be able to get to my house the next day around 6. I said that's fine. He called me the next day to say that he would be able to make it earlier if that worked and it did. I had a fairly small job, but what I did didn't work. Bob and his apprentice Bailey came out and spent several minutes looking at the wiring and figuring out the issue. Seems the previous owner of my house did something strange, which was I could not get anything to work right.
  
  Was here less than an hour and installed my new LED light fixture in my office and added a dimmer switch as requested! Very professional and got the job done within the hour! I will definitely call Bob back again for any issues that may arise in the future. Thanks again Bob and keep up the good work!!!!
