American Insurance

I have had insurance with American for over 20 years. I started with car insurance, renters insurance, and then homeowners insurance.

On the occasions I have had a claim, questions, or concerns it has always been handled in a professional matter, always being resolved in a timely matter. Everyone I have ever spoken with have been kind, considerate, and through.

I got a quote for cheaper insurance a few months ago but, decided to stay with American because of the quality service I have always received.

After years with a well know insurance company for auto and home, I was presented with significantly higher renewal premiums with no changes on my part. No claims, no accidents and no citations. I understand the cost to repair anything has risen but the premium increases were not acceptable to me. So it was time to look for better rates from another company.

Erie insurance was on my list based on reviews I read as well as two family members who are with Erie and happy with their policies. I called American Insurance and spoke with Lauren Sullivan who was very helpful. I explained the coverage I needed and Lauren quickly provided a quote that was significantly less than my current insurance and provided better coverage overall. She was very helpful explaining options and answering my questions and did not try to sell me other coverage beyond what I requested.

Lauren gets top marks from me and I look forward to a long relationship with American Insurance and Erie.

One person at American Insurance that stands out for her knowledge, helpfulness and friendliness is Stephanie Oursler. She is a perfect example of what customer service means. Stephanie recently helped me through a (to me) semi-complicated insurance requirement from the venue where my daughter will be getting married next month. She took the time to present and fully explained my options. Stephanie is someone you actually enjoy doing business with!

Leta Brannon is the best! She is very professional and gives you her full attention so she can listen to your concerns and provide you with the best path forward. We found an issue on my driving history and she was able to get it fixed quickly which resulted in lower rates. After receiving a extremely high renewal rate from an insurance company I was with for almost 20 years, Leta was able to price me comparable insurance and saved me almost $150 a month. I would highly recommend her to anyone!!! Give her a call and you won’t be disappointed.

Hands down the best insurance firm in America. From life to car insurance they cover it and costs are very reasonable when compared to the coverage provided.
