  They took down to stud a 16'X24' family room with a cathedral ceiling. Then built it back reinsulating, putting up sheetrock, replacing 2 windows, adding a beam, repointing the stone fireplace, adding floating shelves, building cabinets and stairs, painting and installing a new floor.
  
  Workers showed up timely, worked diligently, were nice to be around and tolerated my many questions.
  
  While it was a costly renovation John's prices were competitive with other contractors. John was easy to work with and make some great suggestions.
  
  I would use them again on another major project.

  Clockwork Builders are truly experts in home remodeling. First, they started by truly listening to what we had in mind to do. They give appropriate suggestions (without pressure) until we were satisfied.
  Next, they gave us a formal written proposal, broken down into separate jobs, in case we wanted to eliminate any small job. Each quote outlined exactly what materials would be used and their costs, and the labor and overhead costs. A project schedule was also included with the proposal, which was very realistic.
  Once we signed the contract and the project started, any job and cost changes were agreed to in writing.
  
  Clockwork used reliable and very high quality and hard working people. They encouraged client involvement during the entire project.
  
  We were so happy with an addition that Clockwork did for us 10 years ago, that we decided to have them remodel our entire basement too. I can't wait to see how that transforms that area!

  John was great to work with. He provided a detailed work plan with the estimate before starting. He was very responsive to any questions and concerns we had. We are enjoying the work he and his company did years later.

  Our experience with Clockwork was excellent! I had a complex problem - demo an outdoor porch floor and rebuild it so that it did not leak. I had discussions with several contractors who did not know how to solve the issue OR wanted to charge a large amount of money.
  
  During the sales phase, John listened carefully, inspected the porch, then studied the options. He came back with a proposal that outlined the complete technical solution as well as each phase of construction. Clockwork provided all of the information I needed where other contractors hadn't provided a specific way to mitigate the leak or any specifications on the quality of their construction.
  
  Clockwork construction quality was very high. Demo was quickly done, framing was neatly and precisely replaced and the subfloor was rebuilt to a level surface. The tile was laid very well with a consistent grout line. All of the finish steps were also done very completely, railings were re-installed, columns and bases were painted and every spec of trash was removed. It was also a pleasure to interact with the people that performed the work.
  
  I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Clockwork for interior or exterior projects. The quality of their work was very high and John maintained constant communication with my wife and I.
