I am a high school student who started out with him and trained under him for 6 months until he opened his own gym. The experience was great as he is very involved with his work. As many people will tell you, he is able to work with all types of people, encourages you to do your best in the every way possible, and makes it feel as if you are apart of something bigger. Coach Kevin would take extra time to show us videos of fights and training videos before and after practice. He is always happy to answer any questions you have and he makes you feel comfortable asking for help on technique, drills, or anything else. The atmosphere is great as everyone is extremely friendly and will always help you out when you need something. Personally, it had a huge impact on my life as I found a love for the sport.”
