“I had been dealing with lower back pain for 4 years. It was increasingly getting worse. It was affecting my sleep, my mood, and my health. During this period is was causing a domino of effects to my well being. At my annual physical in 2017, my doctor stated that my blood pressure was elevated and put me on blood pressure medicine. During a golf trip, which did not go well, I had had enough. My back would not let me walk without pain. My Family Doctor prescribed drugs once again, but that only gave me temporary relief. I had spoken to a friend about my back issues and he referred me to Dr. Todd. I had my doubts about chiropractic medicine, but had no choice but to give it a try. Dr. Todd was amazing and was able to diagnose my situation immediately. He had noticed that my entire weight was being carried on my right side. I had not put the relationships together, but this lower back issue was also affecting my posture, my balance, pain in my right knee, and even pain in my right shoulder. These issues were then greatly affecting my sleep which I believe was the root cause of my blood pressure issues. After a few visits with Dr. Todd, and with some “self-awareness pointers” and “at home” exercises, my back pain went from a “9” in intensity to a “1”. It is not quite at “0” yet, but I can live and sleep with a “1”. I have spread my visits out to once every other month and believe I will get to “0” by the spring. I have gone back to my Family Doctor for my 2018 physical and I no longer need to take blood pressure medicine. I don't know why I lived with this pain for 4 years! “I love this place; the mongolian steak is my absolute favorite. They've recently been giving less rice with their dishes, which is a huge bummer for me. I love rice, and miss the extra half scoop that they used to serve. The place does get busy, and I've had phone-in orders forgotten and had to wait while they made it for me. They give you a free cookie for the wait, but it's still a little disappointing when you are in a hurry. The staff is usually friendly, and the place is nice and clean.”
