Called Alex about a roof leak. He came out and assessed and estimated the work in an hour or so, then fixed it same day. He gave a few possibilities to the cause with options with costs and the pros & cons of each.
No idea how competitive the price was, but, if it was high, I was 'glad' to pay it as a premium for the super prompt service.

I typically follow the maxim of "you get what you pay for" when hiring contractors and was hesitant at first because Alexander Townsley Home Improvements' quote came in under competitors, but after reading the numerous positive reviews and our initial consult with Alexander (who is extremely kind and affable), my husband and I went with our guts and hired Alexander Townsley Home Improvements to paint and seal our entire deck; power wash and reseal our paver patio; replace our shutters; and paint our door.
