Taqueria La Patrona

Excellent food every time. Birria tacos are amazing.

I was very pleased with my meal. I have passed this place many times and finally decided to try it. I am glad I did and will return.

The people here are so nice and the food is so good. Tried the barbacoa tacos and they were delicious. Some other places leave chunks of fat and sinew in their meat but you will not find that here. Came back again to try their burritos and those were delicious as well. Just moved to the area and am so happy to have found my go to place for Mexican food.

So I lived in Albuquerque New Mexico for 25 years when I got here in 1999 just before the pandemic to hold I wondered where I would ever get Mexican or New Mexican food from. Today a friend reminded me of barbacoa which is a very tender meat that makes excellent tacos. I looked it up and I pointed to taqueria la patrona, but when I called them they said they have Birria tacos. They told me they were like barbacoa so I gave it a try. Five stars y'all I recommend taqueria la patrona!

Food was amazing!! Fresh and well prepared. I will be a regular customer.
