I have almost never encountered quite so helpful, skilled, and considerate service as I have from the waitstaff who have served my wife and I. Allergies? No problem. Questions? Enthusiastic answers. All our needs were anticipated and provided effortlessly.
All that should not, however, overshadow the quality of the food. I don't often find a chef (plus his skilled baker-daughter) who I would entirely trust to make EVERY dish on their seasonal and local menu shine, with execution and creativity. -

(December 22, 2018, 2:29 pm)This is our go-to place for celebrations and my favorite restaurant since I moved to Howard County. The food is outstanding, and the staff always make us feel welcome. If you are looking for a high quality meal, in an ambience were you can have an actual conversation with your dinner companions (without having to shout) , then the Elkridge Furnace Inn is where you want to be.

(December 21, 2018, 12:14 pm)This is an upscale restaurant in a historic building. The staff is professional and friendly. Some vegetables are grown organically on the premises. The food and desserts are very tasty. I enjoy having special meals here with my husband.

(December 3, 2018, 9:30 am)I held my winter baby shower here recently for approx. 12 pp. We were given an adorable private room which we decorated with flowers. We were permitted to bring our own cake. The beautiful old house was decorated beautifully with holiday decorations and felt very cozy. My guests had a beautiful private entrance that was easy to find. The brunch was fantastic, both the food and service. The staff was very accommodating and cognizant regarding the severe dairy allergy my one guest has, this helped make the event low stress for me. I would definitely use Elkridge Furnace Inn again for a small group celebratory meal. Wonderful experience.

(November 23, 2018, 9:18 am)Great Thanksgiving menu. I loved the old building. It had a warm a cozy feeling along with great service and food. Defiantly going back and excited to try there regular menu.
