Historic Savage Mill

Went here with some friends & my wife. We had a great time. Decided to do some hiking/walking and saw some watering holes, lol. Some were swimming, some were just sitting on rocks.

One of the most interesting hidden gems is the historic Savage Mill mall. It has plenty of parking and is home to Terrapin Adventures: a climbing and ropes course/park. Inside the mall, you'll find all sorts of goodies from clothing stores, to "everything for $5" stores, to arts & craft stores, and more. There's even a food court with indoor seating, although with the pandemic, the outdoor seating might be better.

They also have a spacious Ballroom that gets rented out for events. If you're vaccinated and want to learn Swing dancing 💃🕺, there's currently a weekly event here with that option. 😃👍🥳

Compact but with some byzantine twists and turns - easy to walk around. Nice historic feel all in one location. Nice place for a half day visit. Bakery was good and really enjoyed the large antique store. There is an outdoor adventure section, Terrapin, that would be good for older kids. Coming soon is a tavern, Ram's Head.

Restaurant upstairs is unbeatable in the amount of foreign beers they provide! Downstairs is a large antique shop where I was surprised that the prices were reasonable! Above the antique shop is a whole nuther set of shops! Even a clock shop with experienced Horologists ready to service your precious time keeping device! Highly recommended even if there is limited parking.
