“I just really enjoy getting lost here on my own. The trails are clearly marked - but you can just spend hours here walking or running around. Every turn is better than the last. Horses, bicyclists, and other people walking/running are welcome. There's parking on the side of the road and you may want to get there a bit early on the weekends. It's popular!”

“Blandair is a beautiful park with nice playgrounds and multiple sports fields. There are football fields, baseball fields, and tennis courts. I wish there was a basketball court. There is plenty of parking. There are water fountains and restrooms. There is currently an expansion project being completed.”

“I only drive by this but it looks like a nice, full-featured playground for parents to bring their children to. It is close to all of the sports fields and the bike skills-park. The park was renovated recently and poses little danger to kids.”

“Excellent place for the kids to explore nature. Lots of kid-friendly displays and activities, including a salt water touch tank. The surrounding trails are beautiful and not too long for little legs, plus the historic ruins of a mill make for an interesting outing.”

“This is our family's favorite park in the Columbia area. Mainly because it's never overcrowded like the other parks close by and it's far enough away from the main roads that you don't have to worry about the little ones getting too close to the street to fetch a stray ball or anything like that. It has a basketball court and two playgrounds (one for smaller kids and one for the bigger kids) and a large field. The photo of the playground online is outdated. That playground has since been torn down and replaced with the two newer ones. When the basketball court is not in use, it's a perfect place to ride bikes and to roller skate. It's the perfect park hidden in the trees, peaceful and relaxing and always clean.”

“I would like to thank the wonderful people at Columbia Memorial Park as they were very loving during my families time of sorrow. Ms. Wise listened and comforted our family taking the time we needed to make arrangements so we didn't feel rushed. They are still a relatively new park, however, they have made the resting place very beautiful. It doesn't feel like you have just placing your loved one in one big open plot of land. Please disregard the website as it doesn't do justice to the grounds or show the friendliness of groundskeepers and staff.”

“Lots of parking. A few good trails to walk and they connect to patapsco if you want to continue your walk. The playground is good and my two year old loved it, but it was a little difficult to find the first time since you can't see it from the road.”

“Very nice trail! Loops around, can't really get lost. There are many "little" off-road trails which are perfect for exploring. Usually never meet anyone. Very peaceful. Would recommend wearing good tennis shoes or hiking boats, don't go after rain, wear some repellent! Always go with my dog and he loves it! Apart from the trails, the brush is fairly thick so he can't run far! Really nice place for a quiet peaceful afternoon/evening walk. Connects to the bigger trail if you are feeling particularly adventurous. Highly Recommend. Well maintained, clean, well-kept!”

“It's a great park and there is a huge jungle gym, walking trails as well as a pavllion to have events/grill. The women's bathroom was not horrible. Over all a great place to take your kid and tire them out :-)”

“Four tennis courts with four painted pickle ball courts (no pickle ball nets). In the thirty by twenty foot square playground with a three tier climbing platform and five slides of different lengths. A large twenty foot high pavilion has six large picnic tables and is in a high spot with a pleasant view. The one bummer is a portapottie that is reasonable but...”

“Absolutely loved the Toddler Time Event at the Robinson Nature Center! We went in October, so the theme was spooky creatures and my son loved all the spiders, bats and snakes. Very accommodating given to kids under 2 and we are certainly hoping to make it back for the November event.”
