(June 29, 2018, 9:44 pm)I went here with my buddy who lives in D.C. It’s nice to know you can order a fat, greasy hamburger in the back of an old grocery store and gas station mash-up on the corner of a rural road in Maryland. I recommend you find a seat at the bar, bring some cash, and chat up the cooks. The burgers are good! This is the kind of place that resists corporate branding and superficial marketing. Sure. You could go and buy a hamburger at Five Guys or Shake Shack, but I feel like this place is not out to impress anyone. It’s not a tourist attraction (which I actually appreciated). I’d be sad if this place ever closed down. Also. Be patient. The place gets a lot of incoming orders (especially on the weekends) and everything is made right there by a short order cook. So don’t be in a hurry.

(May 9, 2018, 4:09 pm)They are well known for their Burgers. So I tried one. Unfortunately for me I didn't get asked what temperature I'd like my burger, so it came out Well Done. Not how I generally like my burgers, but I guess the blame partially falls on me. Overall the burger was good. Quality meat, no frills burger. Good, but not good enough to deserve the attention it has garnered.
The place is just plain weird. A diner setup with a small food counter in the back of the store, but you pay up front. Cash only.
