Finally we have found THE place to take our sweet dog. We both have jobs so rather than leaving him alone during the day we have looked and tried and looked again and tried again to find a place where the dogs are allowed to run and play outside all day instead of being kept inside and we found it at Dog’s Day. In the initial meeting Matt(co-owner along with his wife) met us and showed us around. We brought our pup in and Matt gradually had someone let one dog and then another dog out into the yard to see how they were together and then another etc. Soon, J was playing with about 8 other dogs and having the time of his life. They have a lot of staff who all seem to really love playing with the dogs. What I really appreciate about the pricing structure is that it is a flat fee, there is no extra charge for potty walks or extra play time. It is perhaps a little higher in price than some places BUT I don’t even give it a second thought because of the quality of care and atmosphere. For J to be able to be outside any time during the day and to run as much as he wants is all we want. Oh, and by the way, he is exhausted when we pick him up!
We tell everyone about Dog’s Day!
Dog's Day has been a godsend for my golden retriever. She has been either spending play days or boarding at Dog's Day for over 3 years. This has been a constant positive experience for her. Her outside play is great exercise along with the socialization. The cage-free boarding is managed expertly by the Dog's Day staff. The competence of every staff member is impressive. They truly enjoy what they are doing. Kelly and Matt are responsive and knowledgeable business owners and I cannot say enough about how grateful I am to have discovered Dog's Day!
We were introduced to Dogs Day Farm when our German Shorthair Pointer was a young pup. What a special boarding facility - actually we refer to it as the Spa! There are no cages, just 25 acres of beautiful farm land for roaming. There is abundant staff, all of whom are dedicated to caring for and loving the dogs they are responsible for. And the staff's happiness in their jobs is reflected in the way they treat the dogs and each other. This is also an extremely professionally run operation. Kelly and Matt are the best! We know it and, more importantly, so does our dog who fairly leaps from the car when we arrive.
Warm, practical, and no-nonsense play and care for our lab. Drop off and pickup are efficient. The occasional texted picture during the first day was a present surprise.
We love Dog's Day! Our dog always has a great time and comes back from daycare tired and happy. We also have done the boarding; it makes us feel a lot better that he is playing and having fun all day rather than cooped up in a cage or something. Plus they always send us pictures of him during the day which is really nice. All of the staff are very nice and happy to tell you how our dog has been doing and what he did that day. This is definitely the best daycare and boarding place we've ever seen!
