  I’m in LOVE with Waredaca!! The facilities are really nice. Whenever I go there I never want to go back home beacause it feels like a second home. All the instructors and borders and pony clubbers etc are so nice and It’s like a big family. There xc course is just amazing. They have schooling shows often which is really nice because you can practice with a real judge. I would definitely recommend Waredaca!!

  Waredaca is amazing. The horses are extremely well-cared for, and the facilities are very well maintained. This farm sits on about 270 acres, and has XC courses ranging from Elementary to Prelim, a large outdoor ring, a lower outdoor ring with jumps, a Dressage ring (3 in the summer),an indoor arena, and miles of trails. The lessons are all safety oriented, but fun, and you learn something new in each one. They vary from pony kids and learn-to-steer classes, to over fences and XC classes. The variety of school horses is amazing as well, because they have the first-trot kind of horses, as well as horses going Beginner Novice and so forth for students to ride. For riders in upper levels, Waredaca offers competition teams, such as Pony Club, Holy Cross, and NCEL. Everyone is extremely nice, and the instructors are highly experienced and down-to-earth. Leasing is also available, as well as summer camp. To top it all off, Waredaca is in a beautiful setting, and has an on-site brewery (guests are not allowed near horses) that has food-fired pizza in the summer, along with schooling shows in the summer, recognized and unrecognized horse trials, AND 3-day horse trials, with clinics available in the winter. All in all, if you are looking for a place to ride in Maryland, Waredaca is the place to be.

  I’ve been riding here for a number of years now, and Waredaca is a great barn with nice people. They have great cross country courses and well maintained outdoor and indoor arenas.

  My 11 yo daughter LOVES her riding lessons at Waredaca. Her teacher, Heidi, is great. She will even get on one of the horses to demonstrate what the kids are doing wrong and show them what is should look like. She is able to correct them without making anyone feel bad. The horses are well fed, well trained and well behaved. Waredaca is a beautiful and peaceful place. Also it is very down to earth.

  Fantastic facility! Beautiful place to compete, hack, or take lessons. I recently competed there and had a wonderful experience. It was challenging but safe, the accommodations were terrific. The event was very well run, and on time thanks to the many knowledgeable people running the event. Thanks Waredaca! Lisa
