“Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Doctor is knowledgeable and provides personalized care. I am not sure I would have arranged the center the way that it is. Patients are left in private rooms to receive their infusions. While the staff does check on you every 5 or 10 minutes, it might be safer to have continuous monitoring and staff visualization with the use of treatment bays, given the potential for side effects. I guess I'd want staff immediately present should I trip out or have a seizure. Also, while the infusion is said to take 40 minutes, it could easily be more or less, since no IV infusion machine is used; rather, the drip rate is estimated by regulating the tubing stopcock. Still, it's the only game in town, so I'm grateful for the opportunity to try ketamine.”

“Auditory Services deserves the positive and wonderful reviews Checkbook consumers give it. My elderly and frail husband had resisted hearing aids, but finally agreed, with much skepticism, to meeting with an auditory specialist. It was reassuring to know that we had a generous time period to try and then reject any aides that failed to prove comfortable and effective. The Potomac location proved to be convenient to our DC home and from the, office manager, Karen Moshel, to Dr. Kathy Grace, he was put at ease and became confident in the diagnosis that he indeed needed hearing aids. Dr. Grace was sensitive to our preference for devices that that were straight forward and easy to put on and recommended a breakthrough brand that did not require removal of the batteries. I’ll never forget driving home after my husband was first given his hearing aids. I had the radio set at normal level and he complained that the sound was too high. It was wonderful for both of us to lower the volume to accommodate his new ability to hear. When my husband suddenly died within the warranty time period, I hesitated to call Auditory Services about a refund, but our children encouraged me to do it. My request was met with sympathy and an immediate promise of a full refund when I returned the device. I do believe that a company that was motivated more by profit than service would have made a persuasive case for not refunding our expenditure. There are many reasons to recommend and rave about Auditory Services. As other consumers have made clear, a commitment to their customers and good service is prime among them.”
