“Good public course with a lot to offer the public golfer. Lot of negative views on the speed of play which doesn't make sense. Yes, speed is a little slow but what you should expect for a public course of it's length. It's a perfect course for new and intermediate golfers which are not low handicap golfers so they are going to take more shots per hole. Understand that before coming out there or join a country club or play a expensive course where it will weed out the intermediate golfers. Staff is very helpful, starter was very efficient with getting us out trying to help with speed of play. Greens were just aerated so only 9 holes are currently open (8/14/18) but they should look great in a month, very bumpy right now. Lot of ball marks which isn't the courses fault but those who play so help repair some if you can to help everyone out as there are a lot. But again, not that surprising for a public course with new golfers playing it due to it's length and play-ability. Fun local course to play even just 9 holes. Lighted golf range too which is a plus.”
