(January 4, 2019, 8:30 am)My wife and I come here fairly regularly and all the food we've tried has been quite good. It is a standard sort of American bar restaurant, such as wings and pizza, but has the addition of country comfort foods, like a turkey dinner, and meatloaf. They also do more elegant dishes, such as lamb lollipops with truffle parm fries. They will accommodate for gluten free, and do offer gluten free pizza, which is of the crunchy, thin-crust variety. Do specify an allergy to the server to ensure a safe for celiac pizza.
(January 2, 2019, 11:11 pm)Update: Visited Bassett's again recently and was pretty pleased with the food. Happy hour is great and it was good service. No real complaints.
(December 31, 2018, 1:31 pm)The new management has really improved this place. Lots of new items on the menu. Much improved bar make it the best place in town to watch a game.

(October 22, 2018, 8:32 pm)Good food, cozy atmosphere. My Uncle and I tried Basset's for Lunch on a Friday. It was excellent, with friendly service, a good beer list and tasty food. The menu had a lot of tempting choices. If you don't find somethiing you like here, you don't really enjoy eating....
